As the lowest geographic location on earth, the Dead Sea, located in Israel, has been known for ages as a place where profound healing and rejuvenation occurred.  This unique body of water, rich in life enhancing minerals, is situated on the Syrian-African fault line.  About three million years ago a natural upheaval occurred which exposed layers of highly condensed earthy minerals.  Later, salt water springs erupted to form a lake 1300 feet below sea levels.  Due to its low location and desert climate, an evaporation process continuing for thousands of years resulted in increased levels of minerals and salts which for a long while scientists believed that no living creature could survive the density of the salty water and dry earth hence the name "The Dead Sea."

Magnesium is the mineral that promotes healing of the skin tissue.  Coupled with Bromide and Zinc, it teats reddish areas and blemishes.  When combined with the natural disinfectant properties of sulfur it creates phenomenal results on prevention and treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as Acne and Rosacea.  Potassium along with Sodium helps maintain healthy PH levels in the skin.  It increases the skin's ability to absorb and retain moisture.  Then we have Calcium which is a building block for connective tissue under the skin surface which helps create firmer, stronger, more elastic skin.
